Registration for Quantitative Genomics 2016 (QG16) is now open!

Quantitative Genomics 2015 is a student conference that will bring together early-career researchers (master’s and PhD students) from around the world working at the forefront mathematical and quantitative genomics. Students will present their work and discuss the hottest topics in the field in an informal environment that is ideal for building lasting networks.

QG15 will take place on May 29, 2015 at the Wellcome Trust Headquarters at Euston square, in the heart of London. The conference is organized by a group of seven PhD students from several universities and research centres across UK and Germany. The conference is supported by the Wellcome Trust Mathematical Genomics and Medicine programme at the University of Cambridge. This year our keynote talks will be given by Professor Brian Charlesworth from the University of Edinburgh and Dr Nicole Soranzo from the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute.

Our one-day congress offers plenty of opportunities for exchange of ideas and presenting your research, with short (5 min) and long (15 min) talks and poster sessions; intermingled with coffee breaks and lunch break (provided). In the evening, we will move to one of the many pubs of the charming British capital.

We look forward to welcoming you in May. If you have any questions or comments don’t hesitate to contact us.
